The Battle of the Five Armies (2025)
“The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” is the final part of the story of Bilbo Baggins and the adventure of the group of dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield. The film begins with Smaug’s attack on Lake-town, where the inhabitants must fight to survive in the face of the dragon’s fury. After Smaug is defeated by Bard the Bowman, Thorin returns to Erebor, where the treasure of his ancestors attracts the attention of several parties, including Thranduil, the king of the elves, and the inhabitants of Lake-town.
As Thorin becomes blinded by greed, relations become strained, and possession of the treasure leads to an inevitable confrontation. The appearance of an army of orcs, led by Azog, further increases the tension. Faced with this common threat, the parties must put aside their conflicts to cooperate in a fight for survival.
The battle unfolds in grand fashion with many exciting fights, where characters such as Legolas, Tauriel, and Dwalin show their bravery. Meanwhile, Bilbo, who always respects peace, searches for ways to stop this bloody war. In the end, Thorin dies in battle, but not before reconciling with Bilbo and recognizing the value of friendship and unity.
The film concludes with Bilbo returning to the Shire, carrying with him deep memories and lessons about courage, friendship, and the cost of ambition. The adventure not only changes Bilbo’s life, but also impacts many other characters, leaving a lasting mark on the world of Middle-earth.
