Hemsworth’s journey as Thor is not over yet, with the character having at least a couple of storylines set up for his MCU future by Thor: Love and Thunder’s ending. One of the movie’s post-credits scenes revealed that Zeus was sending his son Hercules — played by Ted Lasso’s Roy Kent actor, Brett Goldstein — after Thor to get revenge for the God of Thunder stealing Zeus’ famous lightning bolt and hitting him with it. An eventual Thor 5 would likely address that story, as the arc would not suit any of the MCU’s already-announced entries.

Thor 5 would also have to include Love, played by Hemsworth’s young daughter, who is actually the daughter of Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher in Thor: Love and Thunder. The end of the film saw Thor and Love share a father-daughter relationship in their home, with both then going out to fight bad guys together. Thor 5 would need to address the major plot point of Thor now having a daughter and how that changes the character. Jane Foster still needs to come back to life as well, which should factor into Thor 5.
